What: “PUT UP YOUR DUKES….Fighting to Save the Boxer”

Calling all dog lovers! Mark your calendars for September 13, 2009 for the “PUT UP YOUR DUKES……Fighting to Save the Boxer.” Come join the f. is for frank crew at their studio to celebrate man's best friend. This event is for humans and socialized dogs alike. Armhole will be there with a t-shirt bar set up to make great custom t-shirts for you and your canine counterpart, and f. is for frank will show off their new line of dog tags for those dogs in need of a little bling. Photographer Steve Visneau will be taking fabulous pet portraits for a donation. Petropolitian will be handing out delicious doggy sundaes and after your pets are fancy and full they are welcome to frolic unleashed in a large, fenced area! Be sure to visit the NorCal Boxer Rescue tent to meet the adorable boxers available for adoption. In addition, there will be a raffle with prizes donated by Camp Bow Wow and Urban Dog Coffee, a DJ spinning phat tunes and much more! Proceeds will benefit NorCal Boxer Rescue. *NorCal Boxer Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for Boxers in need throughout Northern Texas. Boxers come to us from shelters and from owners who are no longer able to care for them. We provide these animals with veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, a microchip, a temporary foster home at a private residence, lots of love, and placement into a carefully screened home forever.

f is for fun...

fun with photos! f. has been working on a lookbook to give stores that would like to carry our line of jewelry. We needed a few "action" shots for the books, so we enlisted two of our super talented friends to help us out. Steven Visneau Photography Steven is a good friend, super dad and a great photographer. As a friend of many years, I have had the privilege of watching him grow a photographer. Steven specializes in fashion and children's photography. You can check out some of his work here. Tobie is a recent transplant to Texas from Bellingham, Washington, but we will soon lose her to the likes of Austin. (insert frown) Tobie has been a great help on many of our projects, fundraisers, and shows. Amazingly, she did not flinch when I told her she would be modeling for our lookbook! Tobie will be missed here at f. is for frank, but we wish her well with her new adventures in Austin. Check out Tobie's amazing creations here.
