here's a great recipe to cool you off on this hot memorial weekend....
Peach Mango Pineapple White Sangria
Double, triple, or quadruple the recipe if making for a larger gathering or crowd
1 bottle white wine (chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, or similar)
1/3 cup peach schnapps
1/4 cup sugar, or to taste (or stevia, agave, or another sweetener)
3/4 cup mango chunks, frozen (you could use fresh but save money and buy frozen, plus they act as “ice cubes”)
3/4 cup pineapple chunks, canned
1/3 cup pineapple juice (use whatever is in the can)
Combine first three ingredients in a large pitcher and stir until sugar dissolves. Add the remaining ingredients, stir, and refrigerate until chilled. I have successfully stored leftover sangria in my refrigerator for up to one week; your mileage may vary.
Note: Flavors marry and mellow as time elapses. Sangria gets better 8 to 24 hours later, similar to spaghetti sauce. You can (and should) make this a day ahead of time for a party or event if time and planning permits.
Recipe is highly flexible; use whatever frozen (or fresh) fruit you have on hand; berries, oranges, nectarines, peaches, etc. Use whatever wine and liquor you have such as Midori, Hyptoniq, Gran Marnier, Chambord, lemon/lime/peach flavored vodka, Malibu, etc.

meet our new intern... She is a spunky cheering, delta loving, marathon running, energizer bunny, sewing machine who, like us, is obsessed with creating jewelry. Jordan is currently at SMU majoring in art entrepreneurship. We have a very busy summer ahead of us and are thrilled to have Jordan's high energy and enthusiasm around.

For your next date night or gala event try combining a beautiful cobalt gown, like this one, with complementary gold accessories such as the Gold Spearhead Necklace that adds some contrast to the square shape of the upper portion of the dress. Also it would look great to pair the gown with fun, stacked gold bracelets like Gold Spearhead Bangle that adds texture to the soft flowing silhouette. To top off the look, pop in some fun textured earrings like the Gold Hickory Ear Studs... now your set to turn heads at your next outing.

If you need to come by in the afternoons its best to call (214.749.0709) or email (email@example.com) me.

Diorama-0-rama was a complete success raising $7500 for Cafe Momentum. The picture on the bottom right is the badass bags the first 50 people received. The picture on the bottom left is the team that made the whole event possible.
Shannah and I were slammed with work last week but managed to throw together some pretty awesome dioramas. The gold pig entitled "Get in my Belly" was done by me (casey). It made my weekend when I found out it went for $150 (not bragging but kind of am). Shannah's diorama entitled "Holly-GO-lightly" also brought in some major bucks. I decided to do a second diorama at the last minute called "what the hell is this". The nuggets in a jar were inspired by an image on pintrest but not knowing what to think of it, I felt like the title was fitting. It was not as popular as the other dioramas but sold non of the less. I have to say this is one of my favorite events and so glad its back. I got out bided at the last second on some really great dioramas. Luckily my sister won two and gave me one so I did not leave empty handed. This event is a chance to think outside the box (or inside a box), get creative and pick up some extremely affordable art. Can't wait for next year.

For a lunch out with your man or a shopping trip with your girls, this casual outfit is a winner. Mixed pieces and colors allows for some funky jewelry. Our pewter peacock band and gold hickory bangle have the hands and wrists covered, but the real touch to this outfit would be our pewter oval peacock necklace with pyrite beads!
