Perfect Pair: Black, Brown and Gold!

Black and brown is a great mix, but adding gold really kicks it up a notch. The gold hickory slice with brown leather bracelet ties into the boots and clutch. Adding the gold spearhead ring and gold woven ear studs brings the whole look together!
This outfit is great for a date night out!

Store Scoop: Roots Inc.

Chestnut Hill (Outside Philadelphia), PA

What is the most interesting/ greatest thing about your store?

Variety...hopefully there isn't just one great thing...I'd like to think you can always find something new or different every time you come into roots inc. I also like to think there is something for everyone; whether you are looking for jewelry, clothing or that item or gift that just strikes a chord with you - that something you just have to have.
What is the best secret spot/locals only spot in your neighborhood?

roots inc. - right? Chestnut Hill has a varied and loyal shopping base and clientele. There is a great mix of young and old, hip and conservative...some come into town for the shops, others come in for the bars, restaurants and even a grocery store. It's safe to say most people have what they think as their secret spot.
Why do you think f. is for frank is such a great fit for your store?

f. for frank is fantastic because the jewelry can stand on it's own or it can serve as a great accessory complimenting the clothing lines carried in the store. At a mimumum, f. for frank starts a conversation..."gorgeous jewelry, so cool, where did you get it" is something I'm always hearing. f. for frank is funky, stylish and eye-catching which why I want to carry it in the store.

If you could open another store anywhere in the world where would it be?

Somewhere warm and near a beach...
Is there anything else you want us or your readers to know?

If you're in Chestnut Hill, PA - just outside Philadelphia - stop in or look for us on the web

Perfect Pair: Gold n' Preppy

Something simple is needed for a simple button-up and shorts... The gold nugget ring and some layered charms, like the gold xoxo, the rose gold triangle weight, and the gold hamsa, are a perfect simple combination! Try it sometime...

Swoon Event

On March 24 we went to The Swoon Event here in Dallas. It is a creative wedding market and party!
It was great to see creative ways to plan and create your wedding in a non-traditional way, just up f. is for frank's alley!

One of our favorite stops was THE CHEESE photobooth!
What a great idea to have a photobooth at your wedding!

Lauren, the creator of BLUE EYE BROWN EYE, started in paper-goods and has since expanded to event planning and floral design. It was great seeing her set up and booth!

For a little snack we stopped at the LOW COUNTRY QUISINE booth...
We had the Shrimp and Grits to eat, and my goodness it was delicious!
If you need a caterer, check these guys out for sure!

As far as non-traditional wedding planning goes, we couldn't get enough of the VINTAGE DISH RENTALS booth!
Instead of renting the same old, boring dishes everyone else rents, you can get a funky mix of vintage dishes and jars!

A wedding wouldn't be complete without a wedding dress, and RUBY CHARLES designs by RUQAIYAH JOHNSON are beautiful and unique!
We loved getting to see her take on wedding dress design!

Perfect Pair: An edge for spring

If some of you ladies aren't the bright-colors-and-girly-dresses-for-spring kind of gals, then have no fear, an edgier spring is here... This chic does it right with her black heels, leather jacket and kick-ass floral pants (can I have them, please?)... The only thing she is missing is from even edgier jewelry to go along...
Our pewter stingray knuckle ring and pewter spearhead cuff w/ leather, along with our gold twig and coral necklace make such a great pairing with this outfit! I'd wear this!
