Swoon Event

On March 24 we went to The Swoon Event here in Dallas. It is a creative wedding market and party! 

It was great to see creative ways to plan and create your wedding in a non-traditional way, just up f. is for frank's alley!

One of our favorite stops was THE CHEESE photobooth! 

What a great idea to have a photobooth at your wedding! 

Lauren, the creator of BLUE EYE BROWN EYE, started in paper-goods and has since expanded to event planning and floral design. It was great seeing her set up and booth!

For a little snack we stopped at the LOW COUNTRY QUISINE booth... 

We had the Shrimp and Grits to eat, and my goodness it was delicious! 

If you need a caterer, check these guys out for sure! 

As far as non-traditional wedding planning goes, we couldn't get enough of the VINTAGE DISH RENTALS booth! 

Instead of renting the same old, boring dishes everyone else rents, you can get a funky mix of vintage dishes and jars! 

A wedding wouldn't be complete without a wedding dress, and RUBY CHARLES designs by RUQAIYAH JOHNSON are beautiful and unique! 

We loved getting to see her take on wedding dress design! 

The swoon Event

tomorrow from 4pm to 9pm we will be at the swoon event. this event focuses on handmade, eco-friendly and unique wedding inspirations. come check it out. we have a fantastic new necklace to show off that will soon be featured in our new bridal collection.

This weekend we are roadtripping it up to Oklahoma City. I am so excited because I have not been to Oklahoma City since I was 7 and I have heard fabulous things about this show! If you are in the neighborhood come see us. Nov. 4th 7-11 & Nov. 5th 12-5.

My Kind of Fair

We are so excited to be participating in the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago's Wicker Park, September 10 and 11. The fair is free to attend and open to the public, so we would love for everyone who will be in the area to stop by! Renegade is Chicago's biggest and best indie-craft event, and will feature 300 of the best and brightest makers of handmade goods. Food and beverages will also be available, and the event is guaranteed to be crafty and fun! We hope to see you there!

Viva Las Vegas

All of our friends who are in the industry: come visit us at POOLTRADESHOW! Taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, this big, flashy trade show is coming up soon, and you'll want to be a part of the action. Happening August 22-24, POOLTRADESHOW will feature the most exciting companies designing today. Any show whose slogan is "Fashion Freedom Worldwide" is sure to be a good time--don't miss out on the fun! We at f. is for frank are very excited to be participating in an awesome trade show, the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF), in August. The Fair hosts 2,800 companies, representing the very best lines across the home, lifestyle, and gift spectrum. A fantastic, semi-annual event, the next fair will be held August 13-18.

Due to the nature of NYIGF, the show is not open to the public. However, if you are in the trade (attention, friends of f. is for frank who happen to own cute stores!), the show is open to you, and it's an awesome event. If you find yourself at the Fair, be sure to visit f. is for frank--we will be in the Details section in booth 8143, and we'd love to see you!
