My Kind of Fair
We are so excited to be participating in the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago's Wicker Park, September 10 and 11. The fair is free to attend and open to the public, so we would love for everyone who will be in the area to stop by! Renegade is Chicago's biggest and best indie-craft event, and will feature 300 of the best and brightest makers of handmade goods. Food and beverages will also be available, and the event is guaranteed to be crafty and fun! We hope to see you there!
Viva Las Vegas
All of our friends who are in the industry: come visit us at POOLTRADESHOW! Taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, this big, flashy trade show is coming up soon, and you'll want to be a part of the action. Happening August 22-24, POOLTRADESHOW will feature the most exciting companies designing today. Any show whose slogan is "Fashion Freedom Worldwide" is sure to be a good time--don't miss out on the fun! We at f. is for frank are so excited to be participating in the show, and if you find yourself at POOL, please come visit us!
All That Glitters
Make a flashy yet natural statement with this combination of gold jewelry. Each inspired by a different element from nature, these lovely pieces will add sparkle and substance to your look. Adorn your ears with the gold triangle earrings with garnets ($115), which are inspired by the shape of spearheads, and have a bit of a snakeskin aesthetic. Add the gold twig bangle ($95) and gold sea sponge ring ($82), and you'll represent some of the best of nature. In this case, all that glitters really is gold.

D Home: Feature Presentation
Always a great magazine, now is a particularly perfect time to pick up an issue of D Home. Get your hands on a copy of the July/August issue, in which f. is for frank is featured twice, for a great read and some inspiring ideas for decorating your home.
Take note of our gold twin peaks ring in "25 Things Beth Dotolo Loves" (and check out our friend Beth's website, highlighted in the post "Say Hello to Splendor".
Our pewter rose knob was included in this feature about drawer pulls, on page 22--we're so glad to have been invited to the party!
Worth 1000 Words...
Google Alerts brought this fantastic picture, featuring the large pewter tooth necklace ($65) to our attention. Thanks to all involved for the beautiful image.
Gone Fishing
Attention, fashionable men: if you're looking to add interest to your outfit, but aren't feeling a belt buckle today, there is another option from f. is for frank that we think you'll love. Throwing on a fishing weight charm will add dimension to your outfit, and you'll be ready to go wherever the day takes you. Slip a pewter triangle weight ($26), pewter kiss weight ($16), pewter tear weight ($16), or pewter pin weight ($26) onto the chain of your choice (we like the 16-inch gold filled small cable chain ($32) with the pewter pieces), and you're all set. Each fishing weight charm also comes plated in two other metal options, if you prefer, and there's no actual fishing required--these charms make just as fashionable an addition to work or weekend attire, as well.
This picture of the pewter triangle weight is brought to you courtesy of our friend, the awesome photographer Steve Visneau. Check out his website here.

Perfect Pairings: Just Beachy
Bring polish to beachwear with f. is for frank. Start with your favorite swimsuit and cover-up--we like the stylish and functional Oasis Tunic by Hermanny ($119), paired with the matching Sliding Triangle Top ($89) and Tab Side Hipster Bottom ($67). Add f. is for frank's gold woven ear studs ($65). These earrings are both lovely and safe to wear while on the beach--studs won't come off your ears and wash away while swimming, or get caught in your hair during a particularly strong gust of ocean breeze. To top it all off, add our gold twig and coral necklace ($105), which is both easy to wear and reflective of the natural elements found in seaside locales. Use pieces by f. is for frank to accessorize your swimming attire, and you're sure to be the belle of the beach!
Best in Show
We at f. is for frank are very excited to be participating in an awesome trade show, the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF), in August. The Fair hosts 2,800 companies, representing the very best lines across the home, lifestyle, and gift spectrum. A fantastic, semi-annual event, the next fair will be held August 13-18.
Due to the nature of NYIGF, the show is not open to the public. However, if you are in the trade (attention, friends of f. is for frank who happen to own cute stores!), the show is open to you, and it's an awesome event. If you find yourself at the Fair, be sure to visit f. is for frank--we will be in the Details section in booth 8143, and we'd love to see you!
